How it was made
- When contractual issues prevented Robert Donat from reprising his Hitchcock leading-man role opposite Sylvia Sidney, Hitchcock ended up unhappy with substitute John Loder's casting and had to rewrite the character's dialogue during shooting to accommodate the change.
