12 Principles of Animation
Disney’s twelve principles, one per episode, demonstrated rather than described. Written down in 1981 by Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas and unchanged since, because they are observations about how weight and attention work rather than a house style. Six minutes each, and they apply to live action far more than most live-action directors realise.
